Cryo body Sculpting (fat freezing) is a non-surgical, clinically proven treatment that selectively reduces unwanted fat.

It does this by exposing the body’s soft tissues to extremely cold temperatures.

The surface of the skin is cooled to between 0 and 4°C in a matter of seconds. Starting the process of destroying underlying fat cells without damaging any other body tissue. The fat cells are permanently destroyed and then naturally pass through your lymphatic system, over the weeks post treatment.

Clients often see an instant inch loss as the skin also tightens with the process. The process is quick and painless, with no downtime. The body is firmed and contoured giving you a slim appearance after just the first treatment. This treatment can be used targeting different parts of the body.

Areas that can be treated include; upper and lower abdomen, love handles, thighs, back, the hip area and the chin.

The process is painless, and the treatment takes around 20 minutes.

There is no down time, and you can return to normal activities immediately after the treatment.

This process can take weeks and months, reducing and smoothing those stubborn areas of excess fat and producing a more pleasing body contour.

A course of treatments is recommended, spaced one week apart, to maximise the results.

Post-treatment you can further optimise your outcome by drinking plenty of water, eating well and doing some form of exercise. Lymphatic massage can also speed up the result.

This treatment can also be used to help dramatically with cellulite.

Results and patient experience may vary. These are dependent on a number of factors such as age, medical history and lifestyle.

The Results

A mere 7 seven days after your “Fat Freezing” procedure, the cells start to alter their shape indicating the desired trauma to the cell has commenced.

A week later apoptosis is now underway, and you will be delighted to notice a slight reduction in your fatty deposits. However, to experience the full results of a treatment it can take up to 4 months but as with most non-surgical cosmetic treatments some clients will experience a noticeable reduction within just two weeks!

Maximum results are typically seen around 90 days after treatment. When combined with a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle changes, the results of fat freezing are vastly improved.

Liposuction is a type of cosmetic surgery that removes fat from the body in an attempt to change its shape. Unlike Fat Freezing which is non-invasive, liposuction is invasive and serious complications include deep vein thrombosis, organ perforation, bleeding, and infection can occur. With Fat Freezing there is no need for anesthesia whereas with Liposuction the procedure may be performed under general, regional, or local anesthesia. Liposuction involves using a cannula and negative pressure to suck out fat whereas Fat Freezing involves placing a cooling pad on the surface of the skin. With Liposuction, you will need a few days to recover and may need someone with you during the procedure to help you afterwards as you may awaken feeling dizzy and discombobulated. During the treatment you will experience intense coldness but as procedure doesn't last for long it's not too uncomfortable. Frost nip - Frostnip generally does not lead to permanent damage because only the top layers of the skin are involved. However, frostnip can lead to long term sensitivity to heat or cold.
